Vascular and interventional radiology uses image-guided, minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat a wide array of diseases and conditions throughout the body.
The president of Armenian Church Charities is a United States board certified diagnostic radiologist as well as a formally trained vascular and interventional radiologist. He is working with several physicians and a few hospitals in Yerevan to provide guidance and training as well as equipment.
This training helps to advance the level of medical care provided in Armenia.
